Globally, agroecology has been recognised as a solution to the enhancement of climate resilience, particularly so among small holder farmers- the majority food producers in the world today. Agroecology has the inherent capabilities to; spur sustainable food systems, sustainable agriculture, food sovereignty and ecosystem protection.
JESE has for the past 7 years put agroecology at the center of all its agricultural and livelihood improvement programs, as well as natural resources management.
