Ellen K. Bajenja is a Public Health worker with twenty years of professional experience across jurisdictions in Pan Africa, and Uganda. Her experience is founded on progressively senior development roles in HIV/AIDs and Sexual reproductive health and SRH programming, most recently as the country director at Agency for Cooperation in Research and Development (ACORD). She has greatly contributed to JESE’s work through creating measurable and sustainable programs
She holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH) with a thesis on Adolescent’s safe motherhood planning from Uganda Christian University Mukono, Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management (PGD PPM) from Uganda Management Institute Kampala, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (BA SS) from Makerere University Kampala.
Ellen has strong relations across industry and the regulatory community, with broad and deep experience in advising and consulting with boards, CEOs, executive committees and senior development leaders. She has contributed to the development of several programs ranging from maternal, child and integrated health, Water, sanitation and hygiene, monitoring and evaluation.
