Project Title: Growing inclusive green entrepreneurship in the Kibale, Itwara, and Matiri Forest landscape, western Uganda.
Growing inclusive green entrepreneurship is a 4-year project implemented in Kibale, Itwara, and Matiri Forest landscapes, in western Uganda. The project aims at revitalizing rural communities and increasing their resilience to climate and other external shocks through a nature-based model for green job creation, innovation, and entrepreneurship that protects and restores land and ecosystem services by establishing an innovative community Information and Alert system which enables upgrade in climate resilience and productivity in agroforestry systems, developing a replicable bottom up, green community entrepreneurship model and generate businesses, income, and decent jobs, integrating green community entrepreneurship model and climate-smart agroforestry courses /skills in local green college curricula and replicating them in rural communities in the wider target areas
